::Gene17 with Westgarth TV are proud to win at in the recent National Paddling Film Festival. Both Genes 'Advanced White Water' and Neva Foreva won the Professional Instructional and Professional General Catergories respectively.

G17 MD Simon Westgarth said "he was very pleased by this result especially as it was in the US". He also added, "with so many projects on the boil, including 'Genotype 2', the last WW instructional in the Gene Series and 'Ticino' a granite adventure, past efforts seam so long ago, still its great news as we're about to go into filming again". Both projects' release dates are later on this Autumn.
